Keith will probably be able to identify this outback Queensland town, snapped in 1978. It could have been Charleville or Cunnamulla. Time stands still in outback Queensland.

It's Cunnamulla, although I think the building and sign was gone by the early 1990s. I don't have much to contribute to this - I was born in the mid 70s and didn't get my hands on a camera until 1988.

Some great stuff here. I recall the 70s very well but was too young to have my own camera. It was a looooooooong time ago!

I remember as a kid the beer they are drinking, 'KB' in a steel can. Standard fair at any 70's BBQ. As kids we used to call it 'Kids Beer'. People would refuse to drink it these days!
