There is not a thread about 'Photography no interest ' so I stuck it here ~

I was just musing ...

The ex-dem somewhat tired , with seemingly grubby rubber covering - Panasonic G1 - just lies about the house to be grabbed if something happens outside / in the garden etc .
It's not one I would take out for more considered snapshooting - it has been retired from that role .
Other , more serious ? cameras have to be extricated from a bag .

It's got to the point where it is somehow a 'non-camera' , it's just there without question , almost always on auto , focus and exposure .
A point and shoot with zoom !

Of course , I fiddle with exposure comp for a sunset for example , so not wholly mindless , but I don't fuss about the IQ , it is adequate , I seem to know the handling and controls automatically.

Does any of this make sense !!! LOL

This is where my smart phone gets occasional use. I hate the thing in reality but now and than I'll need a quick pic of something to send to my sister in NZ and it does an alright job!
