Anybody notice the one-day cricket between England and Australia? ... and so soon after that Rugby match ... ::walks-off-whistling::
 
Cricket is the only sport I know that when I join some people watching it nobody can give me a straight answer to a simple question: who the hell is winning. But then my aussie wife, with a single phrase, explained all I needed to know about cricket: "shut up, grab a beer and enjoy the sun"

So now I understand cricket. Great sport :)

Maradona comes across as a bit of a nutter, but he is passionate about the game and clearly has an emotional connection with his players. Contrast and compare Capello and England.

It was great to see how the team ran to Palermo after his goal, they were clearly delighted for him. Also you have to give Maradona credit for for his team selection and for subbing on players in the game who might not get too many minutes later in the tournament. Maybe crazy like a fox... ;)
 
Ahhh well. That's it. France's away. Thanks goodness, they were bloody representative. After quarelling they eventually went on strike, thus signing the end of the dream!
We go in final once every other time so we'll have to wait till 2014 before we have a chance to get anything! Where will it be by the way?
