Just picked up a copy from Denton Photo Optics in Manchester (UK)
Superb book.
Superb condition.
Superb service fron Denton's: speak to Dave there.
Ridiculous postage of less than it cost them.
Ridiculous cost of book - £9 including p&p.

Must be one of the bargain's of the week.

Pleased? - 'right chuffed', as the expression goes.

Oh, and they don't have any more Olympus books at present!!

You lucky guy.

I just purchased one through Amazon, and it cost much more than that.

It is a wonderful book. I especially like the chapter "The Design Concept Behind the Interchangeable Lens System" by Yoshisada Hayamizu. He is the lens designer who introduced the Zuiko name for Olympus lenses, and was overall in charge of lenses.

The only problem with the book, of course, is that it makes me want to buy MORE Zuiko lenses.

Yeah this is an OM classic. I used to own it - wish I had not sold it now!

I got lucky on getting mine too. When I lived in Santa Fe, I snagged one on ebay for $30 when most were going for over $100. Its an incredible book on the OM system.

The book has put into perspective my getting more Zuiko lenses.
I had thought about a 200mm but reading that section raised the issue of how much use would I make of it. Good question! So I'm looking now at the section on Teleconverters, and see there is some sense there for how I use my cameras.
Looks as if the book has been a real bargain!

That was an excellent bargain! I love this book, but it has lead to severe GAS at times. It was the first in what was supposed to have been a series of books on the OM system but as far as I know this was the only one to have been published.
