50mm f/2 -- pre-war 6 element collapsible
Fed Macro -- 50mm f/3.5 rigid macro lens
28mm f/4.5 Fed -- pre-war, collapsible.
Fed 100 -- 100mm f/6.3, very rare prototypes were f/5.9
Industar-26 50mm f/2.8, derived from the Industar-50 mounted in Jupiter-8 barrel. Tab and later ring focusing
Industar-61 52mm f/2.8. New optical formula and lanthanum glass. Black and Silver (Panda or Zebra) finish.
Industar-61 L/D 53mm f/2.8 Identical to I-61, but marked for lanthanum and black finish.

I thought Ruben wanted to know all other Jupiters that fit all types of cameras.😱 Some interesting M42 lenses could be used on rangefinder cameras with an adaptor ring, 8mm, 16mm fisheye, 20mm wideangle,etc.But viewfinder is hard to find.😛

M42 is the best mount IMHO. They fit almost all cameras with an adaptor ring. I think Zeiss even produced some M42 lenses recently, or no?

Hallo Zhang! I realised that, but I was worried that Ruben would explode unless someone told him ! 🙂 I also agree with you - M42 is an excellent fitting with an unmatched variety of intriguing lenses. I'm looking forward to trying the 42mm version of the Industar 61 once i'm up and about 🙂

Dear Comrade, kindly post all info you have for Kontax M42 options. The truth is that there is an M42 with formal European award wining medal, of a focal length of 40mm or very close to that, which is the focal length I dream to have in my Kievs....

Personally, my wide angle ambitions stop at 24mm, and my tele ones have no limit, although it will be realistic to stop by 180/200. So if you know something here too, kindly gossip.

I haven't heard about a Kontax M42 lens yet, but a M39/M42 Jupiter-6 might be what you want. This is a fast 180/2.8 lens that could be used on a Zorki or Fed with a M42-M39 ring( I have such a ring😀 ). My M42 Telemar-22A 200/5.6 is also a very sharp lens.

The resolution figures were obtained with a 120-130 lp/mm film so they are different from those Soviet specifications. J-8 resolves 39 lp/mm at center, and 24 lp/mm at edges while a Summicron resolves 50 lp/mm at center, and 27 lp/mm at edges.(quote from a Chinese book)

Of the 5 or 6 Jupiter-8M lenses I've amassed, one is marked as a 53mm f/2. However, I doubt that means it is a different focal length from my other 5cm/50mm J-8M marked lenses--it just has a different marking.

Just a little correction: Fed 28mm just look as collapsible, but it is fixed 😉

Its good to hear good things about the J3 as I have just bought one blind,
I did the same with a summarit 1.5 and was delighted with the results.
I will do some side by side photos with them both when the j3 arrives.
Has anyone got any good bright test pics i can see with the J3
