6 rolls... Not much...

For me it would be 6 rolls for about 6 months... I shoot not everything... If you want to keep shooting everything without thinking, you better stick with digital...

If you do something, do it as best as you can, or quit!.. That's my credo... And my opinion...

PS: Your wife is sure not pressing you at all...

Honestly, if you think shooting 6 rolls is hard, then you may not need the Summicron.

...I guess I should just save money and buy the biggest baddest new one used in like mint condition. I feel like newer is always better when it comes to lens. Though, I could be terribly wrong.

try to take best shots possible with - jupiter - drill it through many conditions. when you see all 6 rolls you will maybe see that summicron is not so much better lens. maybe you will see that you need other focal length or bigger aperture... use that j8 to explore what your needs are...
