jeez it was complete chaos in new york today. shot 3-4 rolls, chrome and delta.

gotta love it.

Jimbro

Speaking of chaos, I took the Nike FE-2 & Kiron 28-105, and, the Canon GIII QL-17 rangefinder out for a spin today. Got some nice stuff at the "Italian" street fair in Portland. Then decided to ambulate throughout downtown Portland. As I was composing a B/W snap with the rangefinder, a young lady jumped into the scene, flashed her tit's, (no dearth of ample brisket there) and waited for me to take the shot. Not wanting to disappoint her, I took the shot, she said "goodbye" and went on her way. For a second there, I thought the Kiron Kitten (Sharona) was going to join in on the fun. Should I scan and forward the snap, after souping the film? (Neopan 400, @ 320, my favorite street film) It's a real bummer when serious "arteest's" such as us, can't be left alone to create our art without such distractions....

Jimbro, what was the scene like in your crib? Just returned from Bodie, where I burned Velvia 50 and Kodak B/W infrared. Got some cool stuff.

Oh, the humanity!

Can we post photos such as the one described on this site? I've got one from a motorcycle meet in Port Dover, Ontario. Taken with a rangefinder camera to boot - a Petri.

I don't see why not. It's just mild and partial nudity. And, shot with a rangefinder too....

After all, it does fall under the heading of street shooting, does it not?

The things we have to put up with! ...hehehe.. You gota post the pic :D

I think that you should first determine whether the shot is tasteful or not, most of us have no problem with nudity. If you will email me the picture, along with any others you might have of nude women, I will determine if they are offensive! ;)
PS- I like blondes :D :D :D

Well... I guess if I had been in your situation, I would have pretended to take the shot instead of actually taking it.

But then, again, I may have photographed her. That must be a wild neighborhood! :)

Yesterday was the local fair, known as Cornfest. No wild shots at all... In fact, I didn't see any good shots. And we had a very gray, rainy Saturday. :(

OK, i'll go for the brown and black ones... Then, you're more or less "covered". :)

No fair! How come you get the brown AND the black ones?

But seriously, what does Jorge think about street shots, taken with rangefinders, which also include nudity?

Alright, I get the hint, you'd all be very offended by a picture taken of a topless female, while street shooting with a rangefinder. So I'll refrain from posting it, and not risk offending anyone in the group.

Unless Jorge says otherwise. Hell, it happened in his home town. He probably has many similar one's....

Hey, I'm not the least bit offended by a display of God's beauty! I just don't want to rock a peaceful ship that I've come to enjoy visiting.

Russ, I know what! If our pictures are not appropriate for this site, you e-mail me a scan of yours, and I'll e-mail you mine.

What! You have topless rangefinder snaps too? I'll gladly post my snap, as soon as I soup and print the film.
