But to the original question:
If I didn't already own the X2, or the M9, or the E-1, I'd snap up an RX1 in a jiffy. As it is, I just spent $2500 on a Voigtländer Bessa III ... one lens, permanently, and film. Sheesh, what am I thinking? ;-)
oh yeah, I love this camera...

So if the RX1 tickles you properly, just go for it and use it a lot! That's the real value of these things—that we enjoy using them and make the photos we envision with them. Nothing else really matters.
As long as you've got your rent paid, of course. ]'-)
