ok. this is probably not the best time to write it but i feel im on a roll.....
just turned 23 last month. yes, im one of those nosy youngens. shanghai is my home at the moment. had an offer to do work experience in a decent firm so i couldnt resist. I have one year to go in my architecture degree. would love to do postgrad but working sounds more financially responsible(ie allow me to get more cameras) and i can always do postgrad later. would love to work in china because the market here is phenomenal, which is very important if you want to get experimental stuff done. i also have some affinity with the culture since i lived here for the first 9 years of my life and my parents are of those academic types who drilled all these cool factoids and stories about china's cultural heritage into me.
camera wise. ive used nikon and pentax SLRs and olympus c7070. All fine cameras. I still have the olympus and pentax. will keep the pentax because i have a nice voigtlander 75SL for it and im selling the olympus to buy a pentax 43 limited f1.9.
this forum is a pleasent change after the digitalphoto sites. they have great people on it too but this is just that much nicer.
