The Rangefinder Forum Book is Available for Sale!!!

Oooooh, we rank 335...!

But... if we rank 335 after selling 27 copies than Lulu.com aren't selling much, are they? 😛
Just to clarify -- Lulu.com just does the ordering, printing and money collecting, but not the 'selling' in the truest sense of the word. It's up to the authors to 'sell' their works and without the mechanics of the publishing industry behind them, it's not an easy thing to do.

The good news is that with on-demand printing, the number of sales is irrelevant to the process.

But who knows? Maybe we'll climb up their charts!

arrghh!!! a painful ordering experience on lulu using safari. after many, many tries i got the chat lady. (no phone!) she wasn't much help. went to explorer and had to upgrade ( the indignity of it all)
and then it went through.

i know most of you are pc users. and often us mac folk run into this problem w. safari, but lulu doesn't bother to warn us on their site. lame.

AndColor, I ordered my copy this afternoon, using Safari. I had no problem at all. I faithfully install all the latest updates from Apple.

strange. i didn't have to install a safari update, but an explorer update. i'm glad you had no trouble. the chat lady said i may have had too much security on my safari...dunno.

i'm looking forward to the book though !

congratulations to all of you. The preview of the book makes it so attractive.
It does me something to be a LUCKY member of this forum and "know" some of the photographers of this beautiful book.

I wish you all the best and wish I may one day get a tenth of your talent

Lulu.com indicated to me as well that I had to upgrade my IE. Funny thing is, I have the latest versionand SP2 and all the security service updates. I think the script they use to check your browser is faulty, or at least needs updating.

I ordered one as well. From te looks of the preview, it's gonna be great. Congrats. I really favor this idea for the pass the camera project as well.

Book around the world ?

Book around the world ?

Following Pherdi's travelling Canonet that followed William Blanchard's original idea ?

What about a travelling book signed by the 25 photogs ? 😛

I put my order of 4 yesterday, you know, one for humans, then elves, then dwarfs, and one to control them all...

I think their page has the warning to upgrade as a standard announcement. I just ignored it and had no problem, though I am compliant with Microsoft's desires for me to upgrade when the little boxes pop up on my screen.
