Inspired by a posting in a recent M5 thread by yet another poster who said it's a really big camera, I've put my M5 on a table full of big cameras:

The Plaubel Peco Profia 4x5, propped in the corner. I have two of those (great monorail). Heavier than my M5, Yes.

The M5 is bigger than an F2AS!

It's HUMONGOUS!

You must work out with weights to lift it.

Of Course, If your M5 is not "hefty-enough" for your tastes, you can always "fatten her up".

For Example, the Visoflex III and 400mm F5 Telyt on M5:

Actually it's a Profia 5x7. The Super Angulon 90 on it barely covers 5x7.

I guess with two people taking it for a 4x5 it should count as a compact camera 🙂

Yes Amazingly Compact 🙂

I would love to find a 5x7 Rear Standard to soup-up my 4x5 Peco Profias.

Lots of Plaubel stuff on German Ebay 🙂
