The Rescued Film Project just got a 1200 roll stash from the 50's

Luckily they were not recently confiscated by the DEA and burnt along with the tight bundles of copped Mexican brick schwag.

How are you going to process. Dentists used film processers in the 70s-80s-90s that would not only take small dental film but also 4x5 or 5x7 film. If you don't have a method call a dental supply company and ask if any aging dentists still have one of these machines.

But I assume if you bought this lots you have a method. Good luck, we all want to see the results.

All frivolity aside, this could be an exciting find. Someone who went to that trouble must have thought their work worth preserving. Someone who exposed that many rolls back then would probably know what they were doing.

If you want people to pay for it you need to wrap it up in the egret's down and finest silk, and seal it with the glue of thousands of nordic blue mussels.

It is an interesting endeavor. However, he shouldn't expect another Vivian Meier. Also, there's the rights issues should they try to do something with it, like make a book.

Maybe I should launch an indiegogo campaign. I have a bunch of exposed film from a week long absinthe bender in Ibiza. I have no idea what's on it and am a little worried to find out..

Having just spent $400 to process my own color film backlog, I am thinking the IndieGoGo Campaign might have been a good idea for me too! :bang:
