how 'bout 100 bucks and shipping is my dime?

Unfortunately, still can't do it, finances are very tight the next few months. Thanks for the generous reduction, though. But someone else should grab this quick.

Joe,

How wide is the focus ring? Could you fit a stainless steel hose clamp on it? Heavy duty solution for very little cost (if it fits).

If you post a picture of the lens and screw hole(s) I could give more than 2c worth. One would assume that the screws used are metric and most probably a standard size. Designing in the dark - need picture.

Cheers

can't post a pic as i'm 'in between' digital point & shoot cameras, hope to pick another up this coming weekend.
the focusing ring is very narrow;the entire lens is pretty small.
the cable tie pretty much covers the entire ring.
a focus lever - like on the cv lenses - would be ideal. unfortunately the cv lever doesn't fit.

Focusing with a Summicron C is always alot firmer than with a CLE Rokkor with a regular M cam. This is not a fault just the way they are, they are always smooth though.
