The scene at La Belle Equipe after the Paris attacks

My son lives about 3.6km (by foot) from there, and closer to Bataclan. He is OK, but in speaking with him I could tell him was a bit shaken.

Thank you for making these under a most difficult situation. As hard as this has been, it is important that the truth is known and documented.

Again, my heart goes out to all the people of Paris and of France.

As far as the reportage goes, I can not imagine you could have done it better, and yet it looks as though you were respectful, so my respect and gratitude to you. Thank you for sharing a valuable document of an utterly tragic night.

How are you?

Powerful article. I take some solace that the victims were an ethnically diverse group who got along with life and each other. The terrorists might have succeeded in killing lots of people, but their actions will have no effect beyond the needless pain and suffering inflicted.

Thanks for posting...a close friend of mine has a son at university in Paris and you can imagine for the parents (living here in Italy) what a terrible night was until they have been able to contact and know he was safe...difficult times around us...

Cesar - and others who witnessed this terrible event - some images are likely to stick in your mind - it's likely you may experience PTSD some time afterwards.. it's important you seek help if that happens. Please don't become another casualty.

Powerful photos and great work in such traumatic circumstances.

Take care,
