If I remember correctly, they did do a segment on making lenses. They show some machining and glass grinding and polishing as well as assembly. It was not a lens I recognized but still interesting stuff. Joe

If this is the show called 'How its made' on European Discovery channel, than I've seen an episode with the assembly of a Bolex high quality movie camera as well.

Hope they consider the Leica M distinctive enough to feature as well...!
