I succumbed to the sweet song.
Picked it up yesterday. The shop had at way below his cost price just to p!$$ his competitor off by undercutting him. Mind you, the cost price of anything like this in Australia always seems to be way more than anywhere else. What matters is that I have convinced myself I have picked up a bargain. 😛
Some observations and comparisons with the CLE after about 36 hours with the camera.

6) Film loading is err... quirky. I loaded the first roll like a pro and then proceeded to botch loading the second roll :bang:. I have worked out why, so the next roll should be OK.

Hey! Hands off! I insulted him first!
How much do you want for the FE?

Sure,
I have a heep of analogue cameras bought 2.hand in the last 7 years. Ranging from Hasselblad 203FE, - with a range of lenses, SWC905, a new Zeiss Ikon, even a beautiful black Leica MP, all topped with a monstrous Nikon 8000ED canner. They are all rarely used and worth little compared to what I gave for it all. How smart was that?
- Now I have gone digital.
Don't worry, in 1 or 2 years you will be back to film.
That said, you are heavily over-geared in my view.
get rid of that strap pronto! the plastic "protectors" are anything but.
Domke Gripper. The one and only. Thanks for the tip. Any strap recommendations?
It will go with a 80 mm, a 50 mm, a 150 mm, a E-film casette, a viewfinder w/o light meter - it's in the camera anyway. Hum. 35.000 NOK for it all.
Is it serious doctor??
It may start with an inquiry about, oh let's say a 50mm Summicron, which you then think better to have better low light performance and you start asking about the Summilux which moves on to the asph and eventually (possibly as little as two days in your case) you might end up convinced that you absolutely must have a Noctilux!!!😱😱
