I use Leica straps on everything. No lose ends, however long or short you want your strap, and nice and grippy on the shoulder.

Part number is 14312. I've always picked them up second hand in the UK from Ffordes.
No lose ends, however long or short you want your strap, and nice and grippy on the shoulder.
My favorite strap is the Leica neoprene strap (which I think Leica actually markets for their binoculars, not their cameras).
