The Street 6by6 Project - Three ladies

Just sharing a snippet from my currently ongoing project called 'Street 6by6'. The challenge was to shoot street photography by using medium format film cameras on B&W film only. I started this project in January and are hoping to have enough photos by the end of the year to produce a photobook. I have been shooting street photography for about 4 years now but as with all other genres, I reached to a point of that dreaded 'been there, done that' syndrome, that is until I discovered Vivian Maier's works. I was immediately captivated by the use of her Rolleiflex in her works and decided to give a personal challenge to myself. If all goes well I should have enough shots by the end of the year but till then, here a shot which was actually the first I took for this project.

Good move. I've been shooting a TLRs on the street for a while now and I found it instantly made a difference to my work.
