Nikon FM2n. I hated that you had to pull the advance lever back to un-lock the shutter release.
I love that feature on my FM2n!

Not a hater usually, but man did I hate this camera:

Hah! I just pulled one out of my sock drawer (seriously) that I hadn't used in maybe 20 years. I was going to Oktoberfest that night and didn't want to use a valuable camera. I thought this auto p&S with flash would be perfect.
It always worked, but half the time it would not take a pic unless I recomposed, tried again, tried again, tried again. Guess the focus wasn't locking.
So that's why I hadn't used it in 20 years!
(still looking forward to seeing what the pics look like though).
Make sure that you've got a battery in it with enough oomph. It won't go unless the flash is charged..

Here are my three worst of the worst:
1. Nikon 24-120 AF-D.. That thing had the bends! Atrocious pincushion all over the focal range, with an award winning low-light at 35mm.. and what's worse, not even marginally sharp unless stopped down all they way to between f11 and f16..
2. Nikon D90.. (And I've had more than one) Nice on paper, but can't focus itself out of a wet paper bag, and has an AA filter that robs all the rest of the image detail away. Look it up in a thesaurus: synonymous with blur. Trust me, get a D40, D50, D70 instead.. they're all loads sharper..
3. Minox 35.. (I had three of them, 1MB, 2GT's) Again, nice on paper, but completely unreliable. Half the rolls of film that went through them weren't exposed.

Olympus Mju 1: I tried three of these and they only got the focus right 50% of the time.

The Voigtlander Vitessas. Compact, excellent lenses, spoiled by plunger mechanism designed to wear out :bang: .

Well, for me, it was the viewfinder and frame lines for the 50mm focal length of the Leica M3. Sorry everyone. ROUNDED corners? I was deeply underwhelmed. M2 for me.
