Yesterday it was relatively warm. More like - 25 C, and I took my M2 with me on the way to work so that I could get fun pictures of people braving the cold. With folding-finger gloves the camera worked just fine BUT it was pretty hard to focus. The grease in my Planar had become very stiff. Still, everything was fine. Then I got on the bus. BOOM - camera, lens, everything, covered in frost. It was pretty funny. By the end of about a 40 minute ride all the frost had melted and evaporated. Then back out into the cold. Adventures in Edmonton.

I like XA for these temperatures in terms of street photography. Or go digital with MF prime.
I don't mind -30. But hate +30.

Getting colder in the Washington, DC area. It's down to 50 degreee F. Susposed to be colder and cold rain. Sunday? Good day for watching football or taking hot baths. A cold wintery mix with possible accumulations to 3" in some places, maybe ice/sleet.
If you even say rain in this area people go crazy and accidents start being reported all over the place.

It's only going to hit a coolish 29C in Adelaide today. Got to 37C last week but overall we haven't had a lot of warm weather yet. Saw a heap of Pommy (ie. English) cricket fans in the city last night who are here for the Ashes Test and they were looking decidely pinkish.

All I can say is that I do NOT miss that. A bit unseasonable here today @ 80f/27c. The AC kicked on.
