M8.2 with 35mm 'cron' Asph.

The Leica Summicron 35mm f/2.0 might be one of the best 35mm lenses ever created, but it surely has among the most unpleasant out-of-focus rendition of all lenses. Absolutely harsh and clinical, with bright-edged halos, as demonstrated by the shot above.
I think the 'cron 35mm is much better suited to distant (e.g. landscape) imagery. Thank you for posting the informative sample! Every now and then the though of getting one crosses my mind, but if one cares more about the general aesthetic of an image than just resolution, the appeal simply melts away... (unlike the summicron's backgrounds!)
P.S. This post is not to pick on you or your image, just general observations about the lens.
