Say hello to the Voigtländer Prominent Nokton 50mm f1.5 (also known as the "old Nokton")!

Close to medium focusing distance, wide open:

Close distance, wide open (beware!!!):

Foreground bokeh (smeary and sometimes glowy):

The bokeh is really wild and sometimes unpredictable, but I love this lens for it's sharpness through all apertures.
All shots are taken with a Bessa R2S Nikon Historical Society edition.

I really like that look of this lens!

The most extraordinarily good lens I have ever used, the Zuiko Digital 35-100 f/2.0:

A very unlikely lens for producing any sort of bokeh, the Zuiko Digital 7-14mm f/4.0:

Pretty much nothing but bokeh here:

I could claim it was done intentionally to comment on the current state of affairs or some other artistic BS, or I could 'fess up to having botched the focus. There is a wee bit of the leaf in focus.

c. 1970 Leica 90/2 Summicron, M6TTL 0.58x with a 1.25 magnifier, Ektar 100, wide open at f/2. Maybe the breeze blew the flower out of focus! Yeah, I'll blame the wind!
