...?
Well, let's look at this...

It's black, canvas, softer than any Domke or Safrotto, so it hugs your body. It's completely devoid of any labels, now that I have cut the one small white one off the left hand pocket, where it couldn't be seen anyway.
The shoulderstrap has one adjusting buckle, low at one end. The strap is long enough to wear bandalero style. There is no velcro. The front fastening is by two big buttons, with leather tabs.

It's light. It has two big front pockets - big enough for a large format paperback - and a big main compartment, large enough to take a Hadley Pro insert with room to spare.
Inside is a separate twin pouch arrangement, fastened only along the top edge, so it can be laid on top of other bag contents, or tucked behind.

The first pouch is big enough for a Leica M with rapidwinder and small lens, or, as here, a small LTM. The second pouch is narrower, but as deep. It happily accepts a 135mm f4.0, or, as here, a VC 75 and 28 with a b2b coupler.
Bought in GAP, of all places. for a very reasonable £19.50. Currently drying after it's first trip through the washing machine, to kill the newness. A couple more washes, then a nikwax spray treatment, and it'll do the job.
Regards,
Bill

bag, I have found a few nice bags @ Gap also, but that is one cool bag for
rangefinder gear. You have saved enough cash to buy more film.
Enjoy

wow, that reminds me of my old bookbag. Very similar, from eddie-bauer? of all places. I wore it until the plastic hardware gave out, and it was too well made to just swap in some new.
Great find Bill, happy shooting!

Army surplus stores are great places for canvas bags.

In 17 years my M3 kit wore out three army surplus bags. Comfortable, cheap, inconspicuous.

Try GAP UK, cause that's where Bill lives. Also lots of stuff @ GAP are store specific so you might want to try your luck dropping in one of them

Zipper on top and not enough room for a newspaper in an F5x.
They don't seem to have those GAP bags anymore. Oh well. I'll keep looking.

i love my think tank photo urban disguise 40. it can put my canon 40d and equipment along with my leica m2 with 35mm summicron. its also devoid of any large tags and look like any other school bag!

Nice find Bill. I'm going to have a snoop around my nearest GAP next time I'm near it (have to go to Brighton for one)...
