The used a 500 hour exposure!

Think of it...

Not so long ago, the leadership of NASA wanted to kill the (bargain priced) Hubble..in favor of putting folks on Mars (to look at sand and vesicular basalt.....BORING!).

I never get tired of the Hubble images. There was some controversy in the last couple years about the cost/benefit stratification of continuing to pay for servicing the Hubble.
Glad they didnt scrap the Hubble like an M8 without an heir to take over.

Now why didn't any tripod manufacturer on Earth think of this option. They think that Titanium is light.

As we all now, low weight and low mass are not the same thing 😉

It's a massive camera body, even if it doesn't weigh anything.
