Congratulations Ellen, and thanks to all who entered and Stephen for the contest and prize!
But, I'm a bit
:bang: by the low voter turnout. Was it too hard to vote? How can we increase the voter turnout for next time? It looks like there were only about 150 votes cast which is pretty low, especially when the images were so good and the prize was so excellent. 12 votes to win, you could just win from your friends voting for you.
My thoughts are that many people found the first round too hard (too many images) and so didn't vote, or vote in the final round. It would be easier if we had a shortlist to choose from. Maybe next time a select group of members who are now ineligible to enter (mods?) cull all the entries to a shortlist which the general users then vote on.
However, none of this detracts form the excellent entries and deserving winner. Congratulations again.

I demand a recount!
Haha. Just kidding.

I require a recount in three states: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. The fact that I neither submitted a photo nor voted is not relevant. I am butt-hurt and offended.
Or not. Well done winner. :^)

I didn't vote either. Embarrassingly, I wasn't sure if the vote was for the best pic or the pic that most looked like it could've been taken by that woman, and as I've never heard of her and can't remember her name, I didn't feel able to vote.
