Something funny is going on. My wife just decided that she needs a M7.
She wants support. SO... as a backup to her new M6 + 35 lux kit, shouldn't she also get two M2s, a .58 black paint MP, an R-D1 and a backup R-D1, a few wide angle lenses, a 90mm f/anything, several rapidwinders, a Zeiss Ikon, two folders, some TLRs, at least two or three Canonets (one black, two chrome), and no bananas?

i've been trying to figure out a way i could adapt the "simplethings approach" to gear acquisition here in my castle hoping to divert the usual collateral damage that generally comes with delivery of said gear. but alas, my hopes are dashed. for it was not the dinner, the thread and the babblings of fellow gearheads that earned the needed "i can never stay mad at you." indeed it was the smile behind rangefinder that won the day. and mine doesn't quite look like that. ------ sooo... do those smiles come with all M6s?
guess i'll just have to stick with hidin' gear under the bed. 😉
good photo. get out there get some shots! and enjoy!
Al:Dang, ... Yet neither Freestyle nor B&H carries wives, the one thing that's really missing around here, and I've been unsuccessful in finding a suitable one locally. PM me if sharing a darkroom sounds appealing. (And the house is paid for.)

Dang, and here I have this great darkroom, two first rate enlargers, Nikkor aand Componon lenses, trays to 16x20 Saunders 4 blade easels, Gra-Lab and Time-O-Lite timers, enough assorted stainless steel tanks and reels to soup a week's shoot..and then there are the Leica bodies and lenses and hoods and filters and meters, a couple of TLR's even! And all located in beautiful South Florida just blocks from an art museum and a bunch of galleries that show photography. Wow. How about the M8 and I'll call it quits? *grins*
