Very good point on using tupperware to seal them from steam/moisture. My good friend a Insurance Adjuster recommended that I install my 5ft tall x 3ft deep Chubb safe in the basement as if installed on the main floor, they have seen much damage inside. My safe is sealed and has a 8hr. rating. I never have my equipment out for display for anyone to see regardless how close they are too me.
