There is nothing interesting to photograph around here!

Dave, I wish the best for your bride.

Thanks, man, much appreciated... I also appreciate your thread as it reminds me to not give in to losing creativity. Where there is a will there is a way and it usually kicks a** with low moods and makes me feel a lot better for a long time.

Oscuro, thanks!!🙂)

Andy,

Sorry to hear about Hickory. Bears around here are not very aggressive. This boy was a yearling when the photo was taken. If I lay on my stomach and crawl slowly, he lets me get pretty close. Doing stuff like this drives my wife crazy.

Hey Tim, If your ever up in NH shoot me a PM. Lots of nice places to photograph up here.

Steve

I posted these to a thread for color landscapes, and realized they'd be perfect examples for the "There's nothing to photograph here" thread. All of them were pretty landscapes shot in the city of Fort Wayne, or very near it.

Big cities aren't known for landscapes, and rural Indiana is said to be flat and boring farmland.

Great image - I'm curious, what do you think is 'technically poor' about it?

Randy

It was shot at a lower resolution and is a bit flat. I don't hate the picture (I actually like it quite a bit) but it won't stand up to enlargements past 8x10 or so (for my standards).
