Thin leather strap needed

+1 for the SLRMagic thin leather straps. I used one with my Canonet QL17 for my 2 week trip in Europe and like it a lot.

Two extremely cheap solutions:

1. (If you fancy using non-leather material): Buy a pair of shoelace, get the thick ones. Then cut the length according your length. Then burn the edges. Use a normal loop and you're done. That's what I did for my LX5* (max time 2-3 minutes)

2. If you (any of family members) have old & unused leather bag, simply cut appropriate length with a strong scissors. Obviously, you'll need to buy one/two rings, some strong nylon and a sewing needle for leather. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes.

Look on eBay under Camera Strap....hundreds there, many thin leather.

I know you want leather but there is one that is black nylon and leather, Kodak, new, and there are many listed from the same seller. I like it and may buy a few for $6.95 including shipping.

I checked that eBay seller's Store. He has them in lots of 5. I just bought 5 for $24.95. 100% positive feedback. I need straps !!! I hate to keep switching straps on cameras.

I was at the NRA convention, and one of the vendors dealt exclusively in leather. They had some nice stuff there, and I was thinking they had some good straps for cameras.

Does it have to be leather? What size little rangefinder? If it is not a heavy camera (whatever that means) any thrift store will use old ps cameras with straps that will work just fine on anything like a Yashica GSN and lighter.

The Artisan & Artist "Kobe strap" is very nice and simple but way overpriced, i bought three similar straps from http://shop.ebay.co.uk/in.camera/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
Look for the one labelled "Ricoh GX200", these are beautiful simple leather straps for around 25euro. seller is in shanghai china but shipping was fast and i had no issues.
