I think I found a solution. Last weekend I went out for shooting again. Last night I developed the films and I changed the development process a little but didn't change the exposure method. I used the same light meter as usual.
Materials:
* 2 rolls in one Paterson tank (for two reels)
* 500 ml D76 (not 600) (250ml D76 solution + 250 ml water)
* 15 gr lemon salt dissolved in 500 ml water (stop bath)
* Ilford Rapid fixer 1+4 (100ml fixer + 400 ml water)
Process:
* 30 sec prewash with tap water (continuous agitation)
* 12 min 30 sec development
(Continuous agitation for the first 30 sec and 2 times for each 30 secs)
* 30 sec stop bath (continuous agitation)
* 30 sec washing (continuous agitation)
* 5 min fixing (30 sec continuous agitation and then 10 sec for each min)
* 12 min water from tap
* 1 min with photo flo
Also I changed the scanning process this time. I scanned all images as 'color positive' and then inverted in PS.
As a result, I think the pictures came out quite satisfying (at least for me).
It means, either I was (or still am) underexposing and compensate with this longer development process or I was exposing correctly and Tmax 400 needs 12 min 30 sec development time including prewash.
I am happy now either way
