- I agree with Jorge.
The M8 is a fair deal. I already have a Canon 1Ds II which I am sure has an advantage regarding total resolution, file size - which gives larger prints - and lower noice levels, compared to the M8. But the M8 is smaller and more compact. no little thing. - Some small children starts to cry when I point the 1Ds II at them. Then it is the M-mount lenses...

I'll steal his thunder: the "grain" is too regular, it looks like a digital shot; the halo's around the shoulders show it up! 
I like it very much, actually. It does not have to imitate film, it is great as it stands, whatever the capture method....
