think i got a deal!

i'm running out of room to hold/store the gear!!
i'm thinking of getting a cheap chest of drawers for storage.

i have my bowery canvas bag packed for tomorrow...x-700 with 35 on it along with 28 & 100...for some lunchtime shooting. still working on my first roll and looking forward to finishing it off so i can drop it off for processing.

for a long period of time, my complete set up for travel is 24/2.8, 50/1.4 and 100/2.5. I never felt that I need any other lens (although at that time, I have all the prime lens of minolta --16mm Fisheye, 17mm 35mm 58mm.....).

I use cheap stackable plastic storage tubs from the local dollar store. They work well in my studio, where I stack them on steel restaurant shelving, on wheels, so I can roll everything around. Keeps me organized and the gear dust-free.

my first 45/2 showed up today! nice looking, small lens.
never shot with a 45 before so this weekend i will try some fall shots at the park with it and a few of my other new to me minolta lenses.

still waiting on my 202 with 45 to arrive.
u.s. postal tracking is non existant...

Reading this pushed me to drag my SRT 102 out again. Still amazed at how smooth these cameras operate. Shutter is quiet (especially for an SLR), film advance and rewind are just smooth as butter. After all these years they are still terrific cameras.

Thanks for sharing.

You'll like it... The 50mm f/2 is also a winner..

If the seller ships via flat rate priority mail with tracking it can now be tracked to your doorstep. The one drawback to the buyer is the cost of priority..

Because of a few less than honest buyers I have had to resort to priority shipping on all of my out of the USA shipping..
