Thinking of a 28mm - ZM f2.8 vs CV f2?

Can anybody offer up a comparison of the ZM 28mm f2.8 to the CV 28mm f2? That CV looks awfully nice.

sorry, no comparison, but I own a ZM2,8/28. Real nice lens in terms of picture quality even wide open and also well finished. But what I read about the CV 2/28 makes me also thinking about selling the ZM and buying the CV because of f/2. Hmmmm. As I normally use color slides, color rendition is very important for me. And this is a point where Zeiss really works wonderful for my taste. I also use a Color Heliar 2,5/75 which don't has so crispy and clear colors.

I have them both. The CV is slightly lower in contrast but otherwise at equal apertures they are both outstanding. I'd say that the CV is a bit better in the corners than the Biogon (sharper to the far edge and a bit less vignettting. If you are shooting slide film I'd go with the Biogon for the rich contrast. If you are scanning or shooting digital it's a toss up. I prefer the handling of the Biogon.

I saw this topic and probably is the right place for me to ask some advice.
I have a ZM 28mm F2.8 on the way which I really have a dilemma earlier in choosing between the Zeiss & VC.
But then the reason I chose Zeiss is because I have a VC 50mm Heliar & 75mm.
I am planning to use the lens on my M6 & R-D1.
And also i heard that the ZM lens are good in colours.

So any advice whether I have made the right decision or what is the advantage of this ZM lens?
I personally love VC lens as well that's why I have 3 currently.
So I am sacrificing the F2.0 aperture to go for the f2.8

What you thoughts? Thanks

Not really the comparison you wanted but I compared the VC 1.9 and Hexanon, and the hex was better at 2.8.
