Thinking of renting an M8 & lens

Before spending my hard earned cash on a new or used RF system, I thought of renting one with lens to try out for a week. I know it isn't very long, but at least I can get the idea if it is really what I want.

I'm looking at an M8.2 with a Zeiss 25mm f2.8 lens.

Any thoughts or suggestions regarding this idea?

with so many used ones out there, you should see if a local dealer could arrange an overnight trial/loaner.

Unfortunately the closest dealer to me is a 2 hour drive each direction. I had borrowed an M6 back in late 06, but that dealer has since closed.

Keeble & Shuchat in Palo Alto should rent an M8.2 kit to you. You would have to pay for the shipping. I'm not sure where you could find the lens.
