I mean, look at us!

New Year's eve, and there's at least 20 of us hanging out on RFF...

We should get a life, all of us ;)

I mean, this IS hopeless... Really an addiction.... Worse than I thought....
Maybe we should post a HUGE banner on the home page of RFF, something like "Abandon all hope, ye who enter".... :)

We should seek professional help. ;)

Anyway, it's about three hours more before midnight here, and I'm already dizzy with all the Chardonnay I drank - and there's still champagne to go....

I guess it'll be a nice hangover in the morning - but, what the heck!

In short, if I don't check again later, I wish you all a happy, prosperous, and healthy New Year! Nazdorovye, Slante, Zhivili, Cheers, Skol, whatever - as long as it warms up these cold days and make us forget this dreary, gray weather!!

May your RF cameras multiply!

Denis

i have almost 10 hours before the ball drops so i think i'm still ok!

and yes, happy new year to all!!

all the best in this coming year and may at least one of our resolutions come to pass.

I'm not actually here. I'm teaching Flamenco Dancing in Tir Na Nog, slam-dancing the Acropolis, beating Gandhi at chess, and doing the Time crossword puzzle in ink. I'm on the road and gunning for the Buddha. But I'm certainly not here.

Can you see the real me, doctor? Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear. You shout and no one seems to hear. And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Happy New Year, ever buddy.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Happy New Year everyone!

If it wasn't for my wife taking charge of the social calendar I might be here closer to midnight, but it's out of my hands -- good thing, too! Ten hours and counting....

I have been busy making contact sheets all day. I was over 50 rolls behind. Later, my wife and I will celebrate the new year here in Texas alone. That is, if we can make it to midnight! I usually start mixing the martinis by 9:00, so we shall see. Good luck to everyone in the new year.

You're probably right, Denis, but I gave up NY parties years ago and usually spend the evening watching American college football games.

I actually have just returned from a 90 minute ride around the local area taking pictures with a Super Ikonta B (Model 530/16) and a Moskva-4. Now I have two rolls of film to develop. Something to do tonight. It's my first roll with the Moskva-4 and I'm anxious to see how it did.

To you and everyone else on the RFF I wish a happy and prosperous New Year in 2005. May all of your rangefinder dreams come true.

Oh yeah, I'm also doing all that stuff Bill Mattocks is doing. ;)

Nikki had a cold, so she had to stay home. Nina and I give each other breaks when she is sick, I took a break, went up to Leesylvania and walked around for a few hours with the M3 and CL, then caught some "wind-Surfers" (Para-sails/surfboards/wetsuits) finishing out the last day of the year in style. Hopefully got some good shots with the Tele-Elmarit.

I'm actually relieved I'm not the only one hanging out here, how sad that would be ;)

Happy New Year, RFF'ers all!

What better way to ring in the New Year than with your friends, here on RFF! I raise a toast to all members and wanna be members, Happy New Year!

Happy New Year my friends! May you and your family have a safe and peaceful year ahead.

6 more hours to go for me.
i'll be spending it either watching some movies in my little home theatre or playing with my new toys.

I'm old. What else do old guys do on New years eve but play with their computers? That really sounded awful, didn't it. We've got three and a half hours to go so I guess in a couple of hours my wife and I will toast each other for making another one and go to sleep. Ah, the golden years.

Happy new year, everyone.

Still have 4 hours to go, here on the OC.
We've had two drinks already, washing down the hamburgers I grilled on the bar-B-Que and champagne at Midnight.
I can hear lots of "BANGS" outside, so someone has fireworks (illegal here this time of year). I used to shoot the 12 GA into the ground at 12, but people are so paranoid now.
Any way,
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I'm back from a wonderful party in a parisian flat, it's now 5:30 am. ,3 guys were playing guitars : rock, blues and so on; it was a joy to shoot all those friendly people dancing (not more than 20 people) , I'm sure I missed many shots as I was often forgetting to check aperture and focusing people dancing in the dark is not easy, champagne was one of the reason also !

I had many hesitations on the way to shoot with my Bessa R + 35/2.5 + VIVITAR 283 and Stofen Omni bounce (I got it today and manual is not clear at all).

Anyway, I do wish you all a wondeful year, full of health, joy and rangefinder cameras !!!
