Okay guys, this IS getting serious! This is a GREAT forum with absolutely the BEST people - friendly, knowledgeable, good looking (well two out of three isn't bad). You guys have single-handedly fueled my re-interest in cameras, RFs in particular! 🙂

Even though I'm currently waiting the arrival of a Yashica Electro 35CC and a FED 3 (red, of course) I just scored a Konica Auto S and a Minolta A model RF off %-bay!

For the Love of God - what is wrong with me!!!! 🙄

I though I was immune for several months, now the cameras just seem to multiply. 🙂 GAS is what they seem to call it. 🙂

This reminds me of a story that I read on some forum of a photographer who finally got his wife to accompany him to a camera show. They went off in separate ways for a time, and when she met up with him again she had a horrified look on her face and she said, "Oh my god, these people are all GEEKS!"
 
LOL.. and that story reminds me of a gun enthusiast who spent years trying to get his wife to understand.. she finally agreed to go to a gun show with him and spent the whole time at a jewelry booth (he didn't even know they had those there)
 
Yep, perfectly normal for around here as I've come to find out in my stay of a couple months. I love it. I can talk about how much gear I'm getting and all people do is comment on my increasingly bad habit of buying things very cheap. 😀

You know it's really bad when you can look at GMan's picture and see your former camera there. Of course I never put the Canonator next to other cameras as it would rip their ever-ready cases off of them.

Hi all, I am new here. I stumbled on to this site few weeks ago. After reading the postings for a while, I dusted off my Electro 35 GSN and went shooting. It’s all down hill from there. I just ordered a set of Kiev mount lenses and 1 body. Then I scored an Olympus 35 RC. Right now, I am looking to buy a Lynx and a Canonet. The rangefinder bug has bitten me badly. 😀

My fiance and I just recently got a new apartment. I happened to have moved in a few days before her and was trying to settle in and straighten things out before her move. We were cleaning one evening and she was asking what were in particular boxes. She would point to one and ask "What's in that?" "Photo equipment", I'd say. "That one?" "Photo equipment". By the time we got to the fifth box, she was rolling her eyes. Even her cat hissed at me.......

Laugh and enjoy life Mr. Ranger!
