Hey - believe it or not, this is not an M9 Thread. Relax. It will all be ok. On Thursday the 10th we will all be trying to make the best pictures we have with the gear we already have. Here's a recent pic I like.

Not taken with the M9. Not taken with film. Not quite in focus. But quite the moment (my sister helping my brother with his wedding boutonniere).

Post a picture, displace an M-9 thread. That's what I say.

I clicked on this simply as it wasn't a thread about the supposedly imminent arrival of the new M9:D

Glad I did though as you make a salient point that we'll all be taking the best pictures we can, be it with the new M9 or our old and battered RF gear regardless.

I had some time today to go for a wander with my two, old and battered, M6s' and I hope that I get some decent results - though I didn't finish either of the films so I'll have to wait a bit before I find out.

Hoorah for pictures and photography for pleasure as much as for work!

...and no, I'm not saying if I'll eventually get one, whatever 'one' is...

I like the two eggs shot, as we say in Blighty they look like two 'good eggs.' Well, perhaps we said that in the 40s'...but I digress.

Something I took the other day, not very good but I enjoyed taking it

Here's a relatively recent one that I really like:

Just been uploading lots of Milton Keynes pics (I'm a big fan of the place) which although very nice (well the slides this time are, the not so successful areas are next) -- I would find it very hard to move away from the above, and this is The Reason why I couldn't move away from the coast. It's also a reason why I couldn't give a monkeys about a digital camera. I love my film cameras, I love the results and have no reason to change.

M-nine what...
I am thankful to enjoy/use what I have and try not to get caught up in the got-ta-have latest-greatest.
Its just a tool used to capture time visually. ;)
