Note: this is not a screw mount or bayonet mount lens. It was disassembled from a fixed lens Rollei S.
That is what makes it interesting. Think of all those old cameras out there not operating for one reason or another with excellent glass just stuck on the front of them.

Now, I one could just rig up a screw mount onto the lens and determine the correct distance from the film plane. This would be a lot easier to do with an slr because you could see when the lens is in focus.
