JAAPV- That's only true if you have a bill of sale. I found that out when I went to claim the filters for my M8 this spring. Thankfully I had bought mine refurbished through a dealer.

I can't help but feel,
The M8 is the M4-2 of Digital. (Maybe more a M4-P)
Seems like a logical comparison, and my brain keeps making the connection to M4-2 when I grab the M8. The black chrome is lovely, and the feel is utility no gimmicks like the M4-2.
I also have to say, for a guy with big mits, the M8 is ergonomically superior to a film M. The added girth is happily welcomed. I am very impressed with how the camera feels in my hand. Heck, I don't even miss the advance lever, it just feels right.
