I know that the Thornton's formula is relatively insensitive to temperature (to a certain extent). So, what is this extent? Can I process with same timings at 25~27 degC ? I am processing PlusX shot between 100~250.

I went though my copy of 'Edge of Darkness' and could not find anything on temperature for either two bath or DiXactol. He seems to use 21 C for both. He did say that his two bath was 4 minutes in each bath regardless of film used (with the exception of very slow and very high speed films). I wish I could help you.

I was just asking the same question at the Large Format Forum. My temperature varies a lot here in Texas between summer and what passes for winter. The consensus: Time & Temp. in Solution A has an effect on development. Personal testing would be prudent.

I found that the CI varied with changes in temperature. I am traveling now and don't have my notes, but somewhere I have a CI - temperature curve for this developer with Tri-X. To a huge extent whether this matters depends on how picky you are.

Thanks guys.... I will need to cool down my Sol A & B before use. And, this means lots of ice.
Placing chemicals in the freezer is a definite NO from my better half :)

Steve, without any adjustments for temperature? So, it remains 4~5 mins in each solution?
