I love gear as much as everyone else, but maybe we should talk about photos now and again. So how about a thread on interesting uses of light? Here's a shot I just took about a week ago:

Here's an accidental use of light: for this landscape shot of an eruption, I accidentally opened the film canister. Most shots were lost, however this one camer out with a beautiful effect.

That's really cool. Reminds me of the light leaks I sometimes get when I use my holga.

Yeah, light leaks can be really cool. Just another thing you can't do with digital... ;-)

I love light -I use it in all of my photographs🙂 I like this photo the figure at the end of the tunnel gives it a biblical aspect - at least I think that I don't think anyone else has got it

I don't need light leaks...just an unbearably cold night to freeze the shutter open unexpectedly...

morgan, are you wanting to talk about light or have a thread with pics showing the use of light?

as far as talk...

i like early morning light, especially with a bit of mist or fog in the air.
evening light with long shadows can be interesting also.
don't care for noon time light.

Some people even try to touch it...

Morgan, I also think it's important to have a mix of gear and photography but honestly how different is this thread to any other w/nw threads here?

Hey Rich, whatever, it's certainly no difference but at least we are seeing some pics here and i'm happy about that!
Come on, let us know what you have to say about light and show us what you can do with it... like this pic of the 3 guys climbing up the stairs!

Re-posts but the only ones I have showing what happened when I accidentally opened the film back and exposed the film to some light...
