Is there any particular reason why a choice must be made?
I never discard anything; I set aside. Some I like better, in retroespect. Some I like less. But it's always my call, since no-one else has the insight: they were not there at the moment.

It's a case of slimming out my 'worthy' folder. I haven't a portfolio of any kind but am looking to get one together this year and need to do some rejiggling.

i think the one at the royal festival hall is really good. i like how small the people are in comparison to the billboard. it's a really nice urban landscape shot to me, well composed. the one through the hole i find a bit boring. like trying out a technique, but actually we've all seen this one many times before, if you know what i mean.

Keep the RFH and the street scene with Indian restaurants (London Bridge?) in the archive. Although the RFH one may look better at another time of day with no people there.

Build up a store of photos and aim to add to it with every roll.

Know your locations, and situations, and light. Then break the rules.

london bridge!!! yeesh capish if that were London bridge. In fact London bridge is somewhere in france, we've only tower bridge.
