Three Photos From the Train Station

I have only had my Ricoh GRDII for a couple of months and have not been able to shoot with it as much as I want. I was finally able to get out yesterday and here are a few shots. The first two are from Union Station in downtown Dallas and the last shot is from the Mockingbird Rail Station in Dallas. All the shots were B&W jpgs shot in camera and then adjusted a bit in PS Elements 2. Nothing too fancy was done in the post processing- just normal cropping, dodging and burning, etc. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

I like the last one best. Maybe just a slight lift of the shadow area. I think PSE has that feature.

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has some unique architecture. I'm just north of Dallas. I have shots of some of the stations, really nice when the light is right. I assume #2 is a hipshot? Nice work. I'll have to carry my camera more often.

Yes, the second shot was from the hip.

I have just recently started riding the commuter trains around Dallas and Fort Worth and there really is some unique architecture to shoot.

So far, the Ricoh has been a lot of fun to shoot. Very different from my DSLR's, but that is one reason why I bought it.

Here are a few more. These are from the T & P train station in Fort Worth. The one of the little girl is from the Trinity Rail Express that connects Dallas to Fort Worth. These were shot with the Ricoh, as well.

Great shots from an obviously great camera. Not a bad eye on the photog either. The first new post, without the girl on the cell phone, is a timeless classic.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to view the shots and who left comments and suggestions.

Ducky, I debated about leaving the girl talking on the phone in that shot. I am still not sure about the best way to crop that one.
