An Idea - Shoot Me Down If You Wish
I have enjoyed this thread and some other postings that contain what might be termed "vintage" photographs. By vintage I mean photographs taken either by ourselves, or family members before (say) 1983 - a date I plucked from the air simply because it is 25 years ago.
Particular favourites outside of this thread have been the postings of Posti Tuomo:

and of Memphis who was posting some "Retro Stuff" in the Gallery a couple of weeks ago.
Is there scope for a new thread in which we post similar snaps which we believe may be of some merit just for general discussion, admiration and/or nostalgic purposes?
Has it already been done?

Mick Holland, I'd go for it. But then I have 2500 Kodachromes from the 50's to the 70's. And way too much more to Kodacolors and B&Ws to catalog. But still it would be fun. Here is my wife before I married her or knew her, again taken by her father.
