Thumbs Up for the X100?

Would be interestet to hear if any of you good folks have tried the Thumbs Up solution on the X100 - or have heard/read of people doing so.

Size to the M9 would be just about comparative (http://enticingthelight.com/2010/09...0-where-the-hell-did-this-come-from/#sizecomp). Of course what most likely would be a funspoiler is the Command Control of the X100 in upper right corner (http://matchtechnical.com/ThumbsUpEP1.aspx)

Just a quick follow up.
Took the liberty of mailing Tim Isaac at matchtechnical.com wil a few questions. Prompt friendly answers.

The product rxmd points to is the CESP-2 designed for Leica X1. There are a few other Thumbs Up that might suit my biggish hands better, like the CSEP-1. However these will not fit the X100.

I just may give the CSEP-1 a try none the less, silly me.

I bought the CSEP2 for the x100 and I'm very happy with it. It's a 99% fit ie it has a very slight play, maybe half a centimeter. But it latches on very securely and doesnt come off no matter what, and it doesnt stand in the way of anything.

A nice outfit to do business with, Match Technical Services. I haven't tried their Thumbs Up but have appreciated their little BEEP, BOP, BIP soft releases. Good function and wonderful accent on the X100 Only would caution against using in tight camera bags because the little buggers will readily unscrew themselves on the lining.

I had a Thumbs Up on my film rangefinder camera and loved it. Makes holding the camera feel far more secure, especially when its in-hand for long periods of time out on the streets. So, when I got the X100 I immediately put the Thumbs Up on it. It had a couple of 'fit' problems that annoyed me: (1) the small thumbwheel on the back of the X100 holds the Thumbs Up away from the camera, and (2) the 'right-angleness' of the Thumbs Up doesn't match the slope of the back of the X100.

So I first tried to bend the Thumbs Up so that it had something like a 100-degree plus angle, instead of 90. Well, I found out that cast brass does not like to be bent. The Thumbs Up snapped in half. So I had to epoxy the pieces together using an added piece of brass overlay, bent to the angle of the rear of the X100. That worked, and now its nicely 'ugly'.

Then, since I'd already mangled it, I decided to chop a hole in the Thumbs Up to allow the X100 thumbwheel to peak through. Some drilling and filing made the Thumbs Up super ugly... just like I like my gear to look. 😛 Then some sanding, repainting with some generic flat black enamel and voila:

The CESP-2 designed for Leica X1 fits well on the X100. Aside from having a good gripping space for my thumb, I don't move the exposure compensation button anymore as I usually do before I have this. Btw, the case is fro Zhou.
