The plastic part of my M4-P's film advance lever had become loose with the screw missing. I sent a quick E-Mail to Solms and guess what, a few days later the screws were in my post box! Great!

I also had some things fixed on my M2 last year. Flawless! It is good that we film shooters still have the option to keep our gear in good shape.

Leica has superb customer service. I wrote to Carmen Vargas of Leica NJ concerning the fact that I had crunched and broken the little chain on my 1.25X magnifier (got kinked when I put the camera into the bag). The next day, I received an email telling me that they were sending a new chain to me - gratis!

I wonder if they might have any thread mount parts? The pin on the distance scale of my 50mm 3.5 collaps elmar fell off. Dag's out, keh said they cannot sell only the part, would have to be included with a cla, which, I do not need. Has this happened to any one else? thank you for reading.
