Ok, so it's already nearing the end of Friday here in Australia, and it's not up yet, so....

Thursday's Street Thread' is just a bunch of us showing some of their street photography and talking about it.

This thread is not about whether you like street photography as a genre, or whether it even exists as a genre. It is all about photographic images and their merits or faults within the genre. Constructive criticism is the key word. Please, comment on the images, and post your street photos for the constructive comments of others.

There's no membership requirement, no criteria, no voting, and no limit to the number of photos posted. The only 'rule' is that Thursday's Street Thread is about commenting on other people's pictures at least as much as it is about showing your own.

If you can, post images as thumbnails or attachments rather than as full-scale images, to keep the thread readable and fast-loading and to keep the server load low.

Anybody can start the thread on a Thursday morning.

Anybody can join in.

I'll start off, it's been up somewhere in these forums before. Thailand (leading up to last years election, the first one since the last coupe):

Lazar, so nice! So suggestive, with just three elements of elements!

Thailand election again:

Hmm, I just noticed in the text I copied and pasted that the photos are meant to be thumbnails. I'll try making mine a little smaller, don't know how to make thumbnails.

Please, others join too!

Driving foundation stumps in.

Older ones. I´m scanning lots of old (5-15years) negatives these days and found something new.

Thank you Lazar! I commented the beerfest shot in the gallery. I will look at the Heineken picture closer as soon as I´ve found my sunglasses;-)
itf, I like the way you use grain and greytones in your pictures. The spiral composition and the mysterious behaviour in your last example are amazing!

Here we go. These are quite old, but I don't think I've posted them here before.

Petronius, I realy like your third one with the black figure in the foreground.

Thanks Richard, that's the only shot off the roll that was worth anything. Underexposed & could do with a bit of "post processing", as the experts here call it, but I really cant be doing with all that faffing around... snap & move on I say.

And as per yourself & Petronius, it's nice to see a photo from the famous JC here again.
