"I'm not sure why I like this photograph. It seems so mixed up, a bit off center, not easy to look at, all over the place in it's composition and mood. But nonetheless I like it. I'm going to let it sit up here until I understand it's appeal."

I think the appeal is obvious--you'd managed to catch all those different people, bearing all those different expressions, in a single frame--a terrific moment.

Thanks guys for appreciating the pictures. When I look at my street material it seems to be the chaos that is sometimes in the frame that attracts me though I find that when looking at a developed roll the chaotic content surprises me. I very rarely remember seeing/shooting the picture the way it looks. It is as if the mind records fluidity and the camera is what causes us all to pause and take it all in.....
Just thinking out loud.......
Thanks again

Hey, Bill meets Bill, cool.
Did you offer him a pint in the White Horse?
Hey, is the guy on the left scratching his armpit, or going for his gun???
These were taken in Oxford about three years ago. Slick Willie was there to deliver a speech . I was mooching around when he and his secret service agents emerged from a nondescript door and started walking at a quick pace down the road. I ran crablike alongside for some distance, shooting with my M7 - these shots were the best of the bunch. In a couple of the other shots the armpit-scratching agent is staring straight at me - something I didn't realise until I had them processed. I am glad he decided that the loony with the little black camera wasn't a threat...
Regards,
Bill
