Tiffen filters and Contina III

I have a Zeiss Ikon Contina III with a Tiffen #510-RL Adapter ring series #5 on it. Screwed into this is a collapsible rubber hood. I also have several Tiffen Photar Series #5 filters and some Wratten Series V, but I'm damned if I can figure out how they mount on the camera. Am I missing some necessary part? Or am I just too dense to be able to figure this out?

The rubber hood should have spacing to hold the filter. If it does not, you need a retaining ring to hold the filter that also has outer threads on it for the hood.

Let me know, I am sure that there are spares in the big bag of junk.

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen. I believe I do need a retaining ring for screwing into the hood (I thought those threads must be for some reason!)
