Here's an interesting article in the NYT on a collaborative photographic project that used Polaroid's giant 20x24 camera. Unfortunately the project fizzled out before it could be finished due to lack of funding. I love the first two photos by Frank, and Heath has a small SX-70 Polaroid photo of Frank smoking a cigarette and looking away from the camera that is absolutely perfect in composition. It should be used in photography classes to illustrate how to effectively compose a square space. The rest of his small Polaroids are nice too, with their distinctive colour that has somehow managed to survive over time.
